I’ve only ever seen a zoomer start the fight like once. Every other time I"ve seen this generation wars bullshit it was some kinda “kids these days” comment from someone who’s only a few years older than most zoomers.
Other than that, most zoomers I know are usually in on the joke.

They learned that promoting conflict was wrong when they handed Millennials “Ok boomer” and saw what we did with it.
