Jeep ducking certainly sounds more like some sexual kink explained in the urban dictionary.

Its kind of like a Boise Corn-dog, but it requires jumper cables and four cinder blocks instead of two.

You have seen the your whole life, it’s just recently that it’s become a fadand widespread.

There was a guy who had a whole row of little themed rubber ducks he got at conventions who lived in the same apartment complex as me growing up.

I have a number of Grand Cherokees (including a WK), and modded /r/grandcherokee for 15 years as an enthusiast.

The WK was the last one that I would call somewhat offroad capable, before they completely Fiatized the line. It’s not as easily modded for good offroad capability since it has IFS instead of a front live axle like the predecessor models, but still had a fairly robust 4WD system and you could add lockers, rear disconnects, etc. The engine options were kind of anemic, though. Lots of room in the back if you pulled the seats for camping, etc.

I thought I was seeing the same jeep over and over, but no… Most of them have a whole row of ducks all of a sudden

Could also be a software developer who misunderstood the concept of rubber duck debugging.

They stole the rubber duck from truckers. That won’t end well.

I’m pretty sure they bought the rubber ducks at stores or online.

Anyone wondering t’s because he was using a portable radio with a rubber duckie antenna instead of the straight metal whip antenna fixed to trucks.

Could be where the jeep gets its association too if they used to have an antenna fixing point marked on user manuals.

I drive the company vehicle, a Wrangler, for deliveries. It’s very funny to flip off the Wrangler drivers who wave at me like I’m part of their dumb club.

Why be a dick about it when you can just ignore them. Seems like they’re just trying to communicate in a way that’s generally experienced as nice.

Like I get it, it’s easy to get annoyed at people trying to “make” you participate in an imaginary and kinda lame social behaviour… But like, being a dick on purpose probably does you more damage than them

No one likes someone whose rude for the sake of being rude, or an edgelord, even being a contrarian just for the sake of it isn’t the greatest characteristic.

Better to find a stable calm attitude that doesn’t require that… And if it’s a way to blow off steam, better to find ways that are more in your own domain of control, rather than having it controlled by an external trigger.

Something to give thought to next time your driving jeep anyways.
