It’s great to see Dolby Atmos support at last. Matching that with their headphones would be awesıme. Wondering if they allowed passthrough though.

Is it theoretically possible for the PS5 to support Dolby Vision?

Ah, I vaguely remember this second controller thing. Would this be where you can map portions of the controller to each one, so then if you have a non-gamer that likes shooting but can’t handle movement/aiming, they can hand that part off to their gaming partner? That’s always seemed like a cool idea.

I’d imagine it just works the same as Co-Pilot on Xbox where you just effectively connect two controllers to one ‘port’. Both have full control over everything for one player. I’ve used it on Xbox for games that are intended to be pass the pad, but we can’t be bothered with actually passing a controller back and forth.

That has nothing to do with the PS5 firmware. They need to release compatability drivers for PC or someone has to make them on PC.

I figured it was a controller firmware update. The Dualsense is such an incredible controller and the triggers, haptics, and speaker added SO much to my Returnal experience. I would have loved to have had it wireless, but that’s not the biggest deal.

I can not believe how incredible the haptics are.

Anything wireless, if you want the triggers or haptics. You only get rumble. Sometimes you get rumble. Sometimes not.

I love my Dualsense. It’s shit on my computer if not plugged in.

The only games I’ve played so far that use them are two hours of Metro (neat, guns feel different… but I hate controller for FPS games) and Returnal (a game that, I feel, should ONLY be played with the Dualsense. Holy dick, did the haptics and triggers ever change the entire experience of that game.)

I’d love some more that work with haptics and triggers. Some games don’t even rumble if I’m not plugged in :c
