Easter candy is easily the best seasonal candy of the year.
But this? This is a crime.
They’re surprisingly good. I stopped liking peeps a long time ago, but these are very good.
Last year they had Hot Tamales peeps. They were terrible.
I imagine, but how could they not be terrible?
Never realized these aren’t all that high calorie. I need to stop feeling so guilty after eating a couple packs of these.

The absolute upper limit on the number of Peeps I can eat before I go into a diabetic coma is two.

They still contain Red Dye 3. At least until Easter is over. So…heads up. I’d stay away until then.

After your comment, I looked it up and there is very little information about red dye 3 causing cancer. The only thing that I found was it caused cancer in extremely high doses in lab rats, which means absolutely nothing if there has been no studies on humans. Also, these peeps do not contain red dye 3. They contain Red Lake 40 which is apparently safer than Red 3.
It’s banned in cosmetics and declared by the FDA to be carcinogenic. I’d rather not take my chances with anything containing it.

No worries. It’s not like even a native speaker would necessarily know that and there are plenty of non-native speakers here.
Maybe I’m just getting old, but these “special” flavors are just ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with regular old peeps. You want extreme peeps? Go play Pudgy Bunny and try not to choke; no special flavors required.
If you’re old then you should know that you are not obligated to purchase these and that them existing does not affect you whatsoever.
