I deliberately warm up my soda if it is cold.

i like that we have genuine unpopular opinions here. i disagree vehemently but will counter with: flat soda is equally as good as fresh.

If it’s Dr Pepper, yes. Something about that recipe just works when it’s warm.

Anything else, and you’re a monster.

That’s funny because I’m exactly the opposite. I can deal with most soda being somewhat warm, but Dr. Pepper is absolutely disgusting warm.

I have the American preference for drinks as cold as they can possibly get and still exist in a liquid state.

But also think most people who say they like room temperature drinks have a cooler room temperature than we do here. In England in the fall I could just put a soda on the windowsill to cool off. Here that would make them literally warm. Maybe explosively so. Room temperature about 78 in summer, maybe 75 in winter.

Depends on the soda for me.

But I tend to prefer colder, the lighter the soda.

If it isn’t so cold that it has very tiny, fragile ice crystals pushed to the surface by the bubbles, it’s basically piss.

That goes double for Sprite and Barqs in particular.

I care less about the temperature usually and more about the fizz. Colder liquids can dissolve more CO2 so I usually drink colder soda because it’s fizzier.
