      The ruling class is, but this character in the comic probably just believes that the propaganda he was fed as a child is the truth, and any revision to that is politically motivated.

    My wife is a teacher and responds to “I dont want my child taught (thing)” with “Then homeschool them.”

    This is exactly, exactly why the same textbook company, makes the same textbook, given to all the other states… but this version omits enough that Florida/Texas/Louisiana/etc will find it palatable enough to teach most of the truth to their children without having to feel uncomfortable. Right-wingers are a cult, man…
