**I feel bad for Zoomers. They never even had Saturday morning cartoons. They barely have any good cartoons geared toward children.
It’s actually a bit ironic that some law preventing cartoons being made exclusively to sell merch, like Transformers or TMNT, just stopped good cartoons from being made. We would have still watched these even if they didn’t sell any toys cuz they kicked ass all by themselves.

Between the hype for Bluey and the state of streaming… I think the kids are alright.
Admittedly the landscape for anything new has been blasted by that prick who runs Discovery. Half the Y7 output of the last decade might not exist outside of Bittorrent. But even the cartoons that existed to sell merch are mostly available in their hilariously long runs, so long as Kids These Days™ can tolerate a 4:3 aspect ratio.
