    Well then they are sexist. Why does the man have to be the offensive fighter? Is Ubisoft implying men are violent and can’t be sneaky? They also seem to be implying women can’t be strong and defend themselves.

      I’d argue it’s less sexism and more following a cliche. It’s a way more pervasive pattern than you likely expect. It’s so common that TV Tropes has an entire page for it, or the general dynamic, at least. Sure, the cliche is sexist, but it’s also one of those things that people will unconsciously default to even when they know it’s a thing.

      Kassandra and Eivor (canonically the woman version) exist, your argument is invalid.

      Also I assumed the comment about the Black guy being violent was a joke, but we have the historical document that says Oda was impressed with Yasuke because (among other reasons) he was as strong as 10 men, so it makes sense.

      Also the use of a kannabo is sick AF, I’m already 90% sold just for that gameplay.
