Most are but the idea is to get a large body count so they get as much media attention as possible. There are countless studies showing how the media has helped heavily drive these mass attacks.

      • I’d imagine these gross chuds would relish the thought of a dramatic shootout as a part of their killing spree.

I mean, they’re expecting cops to arrive in with itchy trigger fingers anyway.

Most kill themselves the second that force shows up, they want soft targets and a body count…plus a wikipedia page. Suicide by cop or their own hand is what they want

It’s not a media problem. It’s a gun problem that seems to be very specific to one country.

There’s also that lack of a social safety net, healthcare, etc…

Guns are out of the box, you’re not solving shootings via confiscation anymore. And these mass shootings started to occur right around the time these 24/7 news media companies sprang up.

Safety nets and fixing our society will do *100 more than trying to get rid of 450+ million firearms.

Considering all the countries you want to compare the US with have social safety nets and actually try and support their citizens…they usually also have less violence over all, but let’s ignore that.

I doubt it’ll make much difference, as they’ll just shoot the teachers first before they can react. It’s not like the teachers are trained for tactical assault, and they won’t risk their lives for a 30k salary.

Did you not read the picture at all? Jesus Christ dude. Just assume the whacko gets initiative will ya?

Why wouldn’t he? Are all the teachers going to use their magical Spidey-senses to know that someone snuck into the school with a concealed gun? Ooo, I know! All their guns come with “bad guy” radar that makes a cute little ping sound whenever a bad guy comes in the building while they are distracted with all that teaching they have to do.

Yeah boy, show me how sneaky your gunshots are. Maybe you’re one of those deaf people who don’t understand that there’s sound? It’s a really loud sound.

So you can sneak up to the first shot? You literally just answered your own question from earlier about the shooter having “initiative”.

Ok, now how many more shots do I get before a teacher comes to save everyone vs waiting for cops?

All of them. No teacher is risking their life for a shitty 30k per year job. Even the fully armed and trained police making 4x s much are apparently not willing to run in and save the kids. It’s time to wake up from your fantasy world.
