Communism is all about Phase 2: the “transitional” single-party government everyone must accept while said authoritarian regime works on bringing about the perfect, government-less society promised by Communism, capital-C. No, Phase 2 is the end game of communism, which is why no major society that’s adopted communist ideals has ever gotten past it.
