The Democrats (“liberals”) are also a conservative party in the US; they’re just not the most conservative party.

Bernie visited the Netherlands recently and I believe one of the takes was that US liberals are pretty much center-right with a few figures like him self being more center-left.

In context of that, there’s nothing inherently wrong with this meme.
