Yea, you’ve just got to ignore all that stuff and look at it through a materialistic lens; look at how it’s used in accounting and business.
Like “perfect competition” 😂. Tbf i think even M. Friedman debunked perfect competition.
On purely economic lens, dumping toxic waste into rivers is more efficient than looking for alternatives.
