      I don’t necessarily see the problem. It’s not like every construction is up to code.

          Dev = working on game

          Dev = game developer

          Dev = whatever fits until further clarification is needed based on context

          Game development requires writers, artists, coders, so they’re game devs. Could it be more specific? Sure. Does it always need to be? Certainly not.

    Still a better layout than some kitchens I’ve seen/worked in.

      Those style of fryers aren’t usually on wheels as they have a gas connection…

        The fryers at all the McDonald’s locations I work at are on wheels. You can detach the gas line. I have to regularly pull them out to clean spilled oil and shit from under and behind them (and all the other big appliances as well, which are the same). It sucks worse than cleaning the bathrooms.

        • Idk what he’s talking about, IME they are usually on wheels to ease in servicing them.

          That said they’d still likely be placed there for operation, they don’t get moved to use, they get moved from where used to clean, empty, check line, replace line, etc.

            Did you mean what she’s talking about? Her pronouns are in her display name…

            i remember ours rolled out a few feet from it’s nook, we had to pull it out every week to change the fryer oil and clean it. The wheels had locks on them. I do not remember if anyone had to detach anything first though just how gross that sludge would be after a week.

          No, I know that already, I’m talking about in the real world and how the game gets it wrong, as well as the dishwasher.

            the one at the place i worked at rolled, we pulled it out weekly to clean it out 🤷🏼‍♀️ the wheels had locks on them.

            the dishwasher is definitely cursed

              Huh, that’s cool. All the ones at places I worked just had the legs with adjustable feetsies. They sucked to move.

      those kind open straight up and you slide removable trays in and out. I think the front would be towards the fryers though, the dials and gauges were always on the front.

        Worked in a few kitchens when I was a teenager and those industrial dishwashers usually have a sink to the right of them and a flat surface to the left so you can slide trays of dishes through them from right to left. The dishwasher itself divides the dirty and clean areas so there’s no cross-contamination. If one were set up so that you just slide the tray in and back out the same way I don’t think that would meet hygiene standards.

          I have used the kind you’re describing with the two lanes (i forgot about the exit counter where they would dry until you mentioned it!) and one that just loaded in and back out from the same direction. The in and out one was in a smaller private facility not a restaurant so probably cheaper or done because of space constraints as there wasn’t room for the drying counter there was a wire rack shelf nearby we would put them on to dry.

          The best part though is that hanging spray nozzle with the 10,000 psi sprayer. the only dish that could ever withstand that thing was baked manicotti.
