I’ve joked about this with a queer friend that came out as a trans man. Ended up buying him a dad joke book for his birthday :)

That’s how the kids noticed it before dad came out. They secretly knew he was a he because of his jokes

Women, don’t let this dude fool you into thinking grilling and fishing are gendered activities. Become the bane of all creatures subaquaceaous you were always meant to be.

I was always so intimidated by smoking over grilling but once I started smoking meat the hardest part for me was not drinking a 6 pack and falling asleep on the couch while I wait for my ribs to cook. Now I got into cooking more advanced things on the grill it is MUCH more difficult for me.

I find smoking harder because I am terrible at time management, I usually babysit grilled food so it’s impossible to fuck up.

I totally get that. I really only smoke stuff when I know I dont have much going on during the day or I’m able to do it during work. But a bluetooth wireless thermometer is incredible. You can even set it to notify you on your phone when it gets to a certain temp. I like to set a timer every time I go to the smoker in case I have to spray/wrap/flip depending on what I’m making.

“Are you gonna start grilling?” Damn, kids pick up on stereotypes quite quickly!
